Assistant Legal Counsel

Our client, an integrated offshore support solutions provider for the oil and gas industry is currently in need of two (2) Assistant Legal Counsel to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

-  Assisting the Legal Counsel and Deputy Legal Counsel in a diverse portfolio of legal and insurance matters.

Job Requirements:

-  Lawyer with 1 - 3 years PQE, preferably having been in practice with a law firm in a Commonwealth jurisdiction

-  Knowledge of and/or experience with maritime and shipping law, ship finance, insurance law and/or corporate law will be an advantage

-  Good academic results

-  Able to work in stressful environments and under time pressure

- Meticulous or possess an eye for details

- Ready to travel for work at short notice (20%-40%)

- Reporting to both the Legal Counsel and Deputy Legal Counsel
