Business Process Associate
Our client is the leading U.S-based international insurance and financial services organization and the largest underwriter of commercial and industrial insurance in the United States. Its member companies write a wide range of commercial and personal insurance products through a variety of distribution channels in approximately 130 countries and jurisdictions throughout the world.

Overall Responsibility
Oversee and ensure smooth integration of business needs, operational and systems solutions. This involves evaluating technology solutions to business challenges and opportunities and aligning system strategies with business needs.
Key areas of Responsibility
- Provide proactive support to business units to highlight improvement opportunities and / or resolve problems, and to develop and execute action plans to deliver sustainable improvement, in both front and back office operations
- Facilitate definition, and alignment, of vision and strategy with the business
- Establish delivery mechanisms appropriate to each project, whether Operations or IT based, that are consistent with various standards from cost, benefit, timing, risk and quality management standpoints
- Managing one large or multiple small projects from inception to completion. Maintain and monitor program of work, manage projects in-flight and pipeline of pending initiatives to drive projects, assess and report status, risks, issues and costs, and take action to resolve issues as appropriate
- Reducing project risks via mitigation strategies and managing the resolution of issues as they occur
- Set clear project objectives, including entry and exit criteria - ensure deliverables meet and deliver against business needs
- Establish and maintain working relationship with overseas’ technology operations, and other operations or technology suppliers as appropriate, to ensure delivery capability is in place and working as required. Proactively manage and monitor supplier relationships, assess issues and risks and resolve / escalate where necessary
Requirements
- Minimum a Degree in Business Administration
- 5 years management experience, with project management knowledge and experience
- Strong appreciation of where IT can lend value to business operations, both at a tactical and strategic level
- Excellent business skills, ability to work with senior management, particularly in business analysis and strategy development
- Business driven, with experience of management of IT, process improvement or business projects, or multiple simultaneous small projects
- Good analytical and organization skills
- Strong writing and communication skills and ability to work with people and teams remotely
- Strong relationship management skills and experience in working with people with different cultural background
- International experience desirable
- Ability to work within a fast moving, matrix management environment
