Energy Analyst

Our client is a local player in the Energy Industry. They are now looking for an Energy Analyst  to join their team.

The Energy Analyst reports to the Senior Energy Analyst of the Market Assessment Unit. This unit carries out market monitoring and facilitates dispute resolution in the National Electricity Market of Singapore (NEMS).

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, evaluate and make recommendations to remedy market inefficiencies
• Develop and maintain in-house analytical tools for statistical analysis
• Investigate the underlying structure of the wholesale electricity markets and compliance with market rules.

Requirements:

• Degree in Economics/business/Engineering/Operations research or related field
• Knowledge of Econometrics modeling or understanding of power plant operations will be an advantage
• Min. of 2 years experience
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous with figures
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good writing and presentation skills
