Finance Manager-China Operations
Our client is a global leader in secure electronic payment technologies and is looking for a competent Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will spend at least 50% of the time supporting the PRC Business Unit. He / she will possess a strong business acumen in supporting the commercial and development of the business by working closely with the Management & Sales team to review the contractual agreements; identify non standard legal terms & conditions with the assistance of US GAAP technical accounting experts and attorney from Corp HQ to re-engineer the terms for negotiations.The candidate will assist with the Budget / Forecast by working closely with the PRC Finance team.
In addition, the candidate will also work with the ASPAC team on Business Units sales deals; Budget/ forecast as well as other ad hoc matters.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years hands on working experience, out of which 5 must be in managerial position
- Possess an Accountancy degree/ CPA / ACCA/ ICAEW, preferably including 3 years with an international public accounting/ audit firm
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Excellent business acumen
- Proactive, diligent, assertive, flexible and firm
- Self-motivated, result-oriented team player with initiatives and drives
- Solid command of verbal and written English & Mandarin
- Ability to work under pressure and independently by adhering to tight deadline (3 days to close at month end)
- Oracle experience preferred
- US MNC work experience preferred
- Ability to travel
