Finance Manager-General Accounting

Our client is a global leader in secure electronic payment technologies and is looking for a Finance Manager expert in general accounting.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager to assist in the General Accounting matters
Oversee the day-to-day accounting function, working capital requirements, process improvement and cost management in some of the legal entities in ASPAC
Perform monthly closing of accounts, financial analysis, statutory and management reporting
Preparation of budgets & periodic forecasts
Assist in the legal entities’ taxation, compliance matters as well as any regulatory reporting requirements
SOX Documentations
Assist in the incorporation of control policies, procedures and operational guidelines to ensure compliance with corporate, legal and statutory regulations and to safeguard company assets
Ad hoc projects

Requirements:

CPA, Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
At least 6 years of post-qualification hands-on experience gained in a MNC and Regional role, with recent years in a managerial capacity.
Solid proficiency in written and oral English and the ability to converse in Mandarin
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive, proactive, diligent, flexible and ability to work with very minimal supervision
Self-motivated, results-oriented team player with initiative and drive.
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Oracle and Business Objects.
