Financial Controller
Our client is a recognized leader of technical sales organization in Asia, focusing on booming Global Offshore Platform Fabrications industry segment, particularly in South East Asia, and is now seeking talented achievers in the Financial Controllership role.
JOB DESCRITION:
This role function is focused on driving results through leading, interpreting and communicating financial information. Must be willing to learn all aspects of the business including operations, products, offshore platform fabrication industry, industry/market conditions, human resources, sales functions and customer relations, thereafter able to effectively assist General Manager to prepare and carry out the Annual and Long Range Operating Plan.
The position will have the overall financial responsibility for the company in Singapore. The incumbent will have interaction with other companies / groups Controllers. Responsibilities include monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting, identify and lead cost savings and simplification projects, rebate accrual and accounts payable and receivables. We are looking for a pro-active controller who can provide strong support of the financial aspect of the business, adhere to the company’s financial policies and play an active role in growing the business, operating income improvement, and overall strengthening of sales & marketing team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA or CPA a plus) with 5-7 years international/multi-international accounting experience
- Ability to take on leadership role and drive towards appropriate change
- Must be a team player with positive attitude, high motivation and interpersonal skills
- Fully understand of Singapore Business Regulations
- Ability to travel occasionally
