HR Specialist

JOB TITLE                                             HR Specialist                                                                                   

ACCOUNTABILITY                                Head of Department

HIGHEST STAFF GRADE                       8

FUNCTION                                           Lead and manage the Compensation and Benefits activity throughout the organization.

QUALIFICATION                                  Degree / Diploma / professional qualifications with relevant experience preferred.                                                           

RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITIES

Compensation

  • Administer the Petty Cash payout.
  • Compile Salary surveys and act as a back up in the local payroll administration.
  • Administer Performance Review, Bonus and Annual Increment payout.

Employee Benefits Administration

  • Administer Medical and Insurance reimbursements and costing
  • Administer the Group Life and General Insurance coverages and costing.

Employee Relationship Management

  • Regular and effective HR communication with employees for continuous improvement
  • Administer Focus group.

Training & Development

  • Map out the company’s Total Training Plan for staff’s development programme
  • Administer Orientation and Student Industrial Programme

Administrative & Operational

  • Prepare monthly headcount report and Board Meeting presentation slides.
  • Prepare and Administer HR Budget
  • IHI Billings on a bi-yearly basis.
  • Administer the HRIS system and issue passwords for E-leave system
  • Ensure insurance for all projects are covered on time and administer the costing accordingly

CRITERIA:

Degree / Graduate Diploma in HRM /Diploma in Compensation & Benefits

Min 3 years experience

Familiar with Payroll software

Proficient in Excel spreadsheet

Good inter-personal & communication skills
