Regional Treasury Manager, Singapore

Our client, a rapidly growing designer, manufacturer and marketer of comfortable footwear for men, women and children is currently in need of a Regional Treasury Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular cash forecasting & cash management for affiliated companies
  • Manage Group Companies’ financing activities, handle inter-company foreign exchange trades, money market trades & consolidating payments & collections
  • Involved in liabilities management of the Group’s borrowings.
  • Provide analysis of data & assist the Group Treasury Manager in putting up recommendations to manage the Group liabilities and hedging strategies as well as preparing weekly treasury reports.
  • Evaluate Supply Chain Financing
  • Review internal control procedures and propose revisions to existing procedures to increase efficiency
  • Liaise with banks/financial institutions on financing arrangements including legal documentation and loan administration
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements of central banks/statutory bodies and financing documents
  • Assist in project implementation & system enhancement on the treasury systems to handle treasury product requirements.
  • Letter of credit, bank’s guarantee and corp guarantee negotiation/advisory
  • Coordinate with both internal and external auditors on SOX compliance
  • Any other treasury tasks when assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance, Banking
  • At least 8 yrs. Relevant working experience, of which 2 yrs. Should be in managerial capacity
  • Strong analytical ability with an eye for detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and business communications skill
  • Good team player with ability to work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in system implementation and project management
