Learning Executive
Listed on the Singapore stock exchange, our client is a key player in the beverage industry. Currently, they have an opening for Learning Executive to be part of their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage learning activities, including communication of training policies and processes to employees and coordinating with internal and external facilitators.
- May lead and/or participate in work groups and committees for learning and development initiatives; facilitate project team meetings and work plans as required.
- Conduct learning needs analysis, employee surveys, and review performance evaluations.
- Monitor, measure and review the effectiveness of learning initiatives through presentations, observations of on-the-job performance, questionnaires and discussions with superiors and employees.
- Work with superiors by informing them of educational opportunities and eligibility requirements.
- Manage the delivery of learning and development programs by liaising/negotiating with book centers and venues as appropriate.
- Produce and develop learning materials for in-house courses from researched information or own knowledge.
- Assist in the development of department policies and recommend appropriate practices to ensure consistency and long-term sustainability of learning plans.
- Provide learning support to Learning & Organization Development Manager and assist in annual Learning Budget and Accrual exercise.
- Perform related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resource Management/Development/Business Administration or related discipline
- At least 4 years experience in a manufacturing environment in one or more of the following: professional training, teaching, course development, facilitation or counselling, personnel administration in job analysis, performance appraisal, selection devices or labor relations.
- Good knowledge of industry standards, i.e. ISO Certification, and other learning-related certifications.
- Awareness of current and future learning and development interventions.
- Strong knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques related to learning.
- Strong knowledge of management practices, learning theories and organizational behaviors.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Flexible on working hours
