Product Line Manager

Our client is a rapidly growing designer, manufacturer and marketer of footwear for men, women and children. All of their footwear products incorporate their proprietary closed-cell resin material, which they believe represents a substantial innovation in footwear comfort and functionality.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage specific product lines for Asia region with the goal of maximizing sales, marketing and competitive positioning in different countries
  • Responsible for giving Asia market creative input in the definition and development of the product range
  • Work with marketing team, country sales managers to champion the development and implementation of product penetration and sales
  • Maintain a close relationship with suppliers, both internal and external clients
  • Develop a strategic vision for the product segment, including a comprehensive marketing plan (with Marketing Dept), communication, strategy, etc
  • Ensure that product line-up is competitive and aligned with customer and distributor needs by constantly monitoring the industry and making recommendations
  • Analyze sales data to compare regions and recommend changes in sales strategies and marketing promotions
  • Must be able to contribute to the merchanise strategy across Asia Pacific

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business/Marketing or revelant business experience
  • Min 5 years of regional sales/product management experience in sports, fashion or lifestyle industry
  • Self -starter and able to work independently and through a matrix organization
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with a passionate commitment to the customer and product quality
  • Must be willing to travel
