Regional Rigid Packaging Sourcing Manager
Our client is the world's most comprehensive and broadly based manufacturer of health care products, as well as a provider of related services for the consumer, pharmaceutical, medical devices and diagnostics markets.
The Role
The successful candidate will be a Commodity Subject Matter Expert. This individual will be a team member of the Global Packaging Leadership Team (GPLT) and be asked to contribute &/or lead specific initiatives that will help the Company worldwide take advantage of new Supplier Enabled Innovations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Operations Customers in areas of Packaging Material/Process/Technology Innovation, New Product Launches, Supplier Selection, Supply Reliability (incl. BCP– Integrated Supply Methodology), and to drive Cost Optimization, SRM – Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Performance efforts.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in TATT, Operations, Third Party Manufacturing, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing &/or Engineering.
- Demonstrated Collaborative Leadership skills, superior Project Management skills, viewed as Team and Customer focused.
- Thorough understanding of the interdependencies of supply logistics on Operations success.
- Past commodity management experience and robust Procurement commercial skills in Agreement Development, Negotiation, Financial Analyses, Sourcing due-diligence and Change Management.
- Traveling 25-35% regionally and globally.
